Our Wilson '65 Alumnus Gordon Behnke passed away on February 1st, 2019. He was born in Tacoma in 1946 and graduated with our Wilson High School 1965 class. Like a lot of the guys in our class, Gordy was a car enthusiast and that passion carried on all his life, his 36 Ford Coupe was his pride and joy. He was also a master gardener and grew prize winning plants and vegetables.
After graduating from Wilson, Gordon served in the Navy for 2 years and then worked for the city of Tacoma for 37 years.
Gordon was survived by his wife of 45 years, 2 sons, a daughter, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
